Key biodiversity
The site is important for forest and heathland birds and migrating raptors. The site is a migratory bottleneck where more than 3,000 Grus grus regularly pass.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The abandonment of grazing is leading to the expansion of forests. In particular, this threatens Circus spp. and Lullula arborea.
