Site description
A complex of shallow (<10 m in parts) sea bays and two islands on the north-western coast of Estonia, with coastal reedbeds, meadows and sea-cliffs. The main economic activity is fishing; the islands are used as military practice grounds.
Key biodiversity
Paldiski bay is an important staging area for migrating Cygnus columbianus and Cygnus cygnus.
