Site description (baseline)
Plains to the south-east of Badajoz with grasslands, dehesas and some non-irrigated cereal cultivation. There is an endorreic lagoon complex.
Key biodiversity
This is an important area for breeding steppic species, resident and wintering raptors and wintering Grus grus.
