Site description
A mountainous area in the south-central Alps, on the west side of Lake Como, and covered mainly by broadleaved woodlands. The main land-uses are hunting and forestry.

Key biodiversity
The area is notable for its high diversity of breeding raptors and for its woodland passerines.
