Site description
Low, semi-arid mountain surrounded by undulating semi-arid plain, steep slopes, rocky area, some bushes.
Key biodiversity
Breeding species include several raptors, Alectoris chukar (very common), Irania gutturalis, Oenanthe finschii, Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax, Petronia petronia, Bucanetes githagineus. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Falco naumanni (breeds), Tetrax tetrax (rare passage and winter visitor).
