Site description (baseline)
Saltwater and freshwater lagoons with reedbeds (Phragmites), sand-dunes, beaches, rocky coast, wet meadows, agricultural and uncultivated land.
Key biodiversity
The site is important for passage and wintering waterbirds. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca (passage).
