Site description
An archipelago of 15 islands and islets along the north-eastern coast of Sardinia. They are mainly covered by maquis, with some coniferous plantations, and there are many rocky cliffs. Tourism is the most important land-use.
Key biodiversity
An important breeding site for seabirds, including Larus audouinii, shearwaters and Hydrobates pelagicus.
