Site description (baseline)
A large freshwater lake with extensive reedbeds (Phragmites).
Key biodiversity
This is an important site for wintering ducks (Anatidae) and breeding species associated with reedbeds. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Phalacrocorax pygmeus (wintering), Aythya nyroca (breeding).
