Shallow waters and rocky coastline in the intertidal zone, forming small ponds during low tide. The coast and these small ponds are an attractive zone for migratory birds.
Key biodiversity
Interesting area for migratory waterbirds, e.g. Turnstone and Sanderlings, in the Azores.
