A lake with reedbeds (Phragmites), wet meadows, heathland, woodland, and arable land. Human activities include agriculture and stock-raising.

Key biodiversity
This site is important for woodland species, particularly Accipiter gentilis, Milvus migrans and Dryocopus martius.

Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Breeding birds are disturbed by tourism and recreation activities, fishing and hunting (including illegal hunting).

Protected areas
National Low International None250 ha of IBA covered by Hunting Reserve (250 ha).
