Site description (2000 baseline):

Large bays with sandy beaches, on the Black Sea coast near the towns of Skadovsk and Krasnoperekopsk. The site includes the Lebyazhi islands.

National Partial International High9,612 ha of IBA covered by unknown protected-area type (Lebyazhi Island, 9,612 ha). 87,000 ha of IBA covered by Ramsar Site (Karkinitska and Dzharylgatchska Bays, 87,000 ha).
