A complex of intensively farmed fish-ponds.

Key biodiversity
During the period 1995-1996 up to 10 pairs of breeding Sterna albifrons were found breeding in the area. Breeding species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Crex crex (a few calling males).

Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Intensive aquaculture poses a threat through drastic changes in habitat, e.g. ponds may be drained at the time of year when they are most important for birds.
