Site summary
This IBA regularly supports more than 1% of the world populations of Black-faced Cormorant, Red-necked Stint, Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, Banded Stilt, Red-capped Plover, Sooty Oystercatcher, Pied Oystercatcher and Silver Gull. The IBA also supports populations of the endangered Australasian Bittern and vulnerable Fairy Tern.
