Site description (2000 baseline)
A complex of fish-ponds surrounded by water-fringe vegetation and some completely covered with emergent vegetation. Wet meadows and pastures are adjacent to the fish-ponds.

Key biodiversity
This is an important site for breeding herons and terns. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca, Haliaeetus albicilla (1-9 wintering).
