Site description (baseline)
Gibraltar Point covers three miles of coast from Skegness to The Wash. Wintering and passage wildfowl and waders are supported by the sandy and muddy seashore, sand dunes, saltmarsh and freshwater marsh with ponds and lagoons. The site is also important for breeding terns.
