Site description
A predominantly forested area on the eastern Bohemian Mass. Large areas of native forest have been replaced with spruce Picea plantations but substantial areas of native mixed Fagus and Abies forest, Picea forest and broadleaved forest remain. The majority of the remaining area is mesophile grassland. The site has a number of raised bogs.
Key biodiversity
The area is important for breeding forest species and Crex crex.
