A low-lying area around the River Ems with wetland, humid grassland and wet forest. There are also old ponds with reed Phragmites.

This is an important site for passage and breeding waterbirds, and for wintering swans and geese.

National Partial International NoneIBA overlaps with Nature Reserves.
