Site description
This small (ca. ¾ acre) artificially maintained pond located at N 13 degrees 09' 31.48" W 59 degrees 26' 19.30" is surrounded by grazing land. (This is part of the complex of wetland and contiguous pastureland in the parish of St. Philip.)
Key biodiversity
This is the only documented nesting location of Caribbean Coot on the island. About 3 or 4 pairs nest here.
