Site description (baseline)
A hilly area of Tuscany, 15 km north-west of Florence. Habitats are dominated by pastures, heathland, ruderal land, grassland and woodland. Vegetation cover is highly influenced by fire and grazing. The area is mainly used for stock-grazing.
Key biodiversity
A notable site for passerine species.
