Site description
An area of woodland and heathland, located south of the city of Bergen op Zoom. The site is adjacent to the Belgian IBA of Kalmhoutsche Heide. Forest stands consist of deciduous/mixed woodlands and conifer plantations of various ages and under varying management regimes.
Key biodiversity
This site is important at the EU level for Caprimulgus europaeus, Dryocopus martius and Lullula arborea.
