Year of compilation: 2009

Located in the north-western part of Hexigten Qi, Chifeng City, in the transitional area between the Da Hinggan Ling mountains and the Inner Mongolia Plateau.

Non-bird biodiversity: Nationally protected animals include Felis lynx, Procapra gutturosa and Cervus elaphus.

Established as a nature reserve in 1979, and upgraded to a national nature reserve in 2000.
