Site description
This Marine IBA is identified using seaward extensions around breeding colonies. It originates from the Canada Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and falls within the Atlantic, Northwest FAO ocean region. The site covers an area of 1284 km2 and borders the coastline. The depth ranges from 0 to 155 m and mean annual sea surface temperature falls between 5.17 and 6.54 °C.

Key biodiversity
2 species trigger IBA criteria at this Marine IBA. Seaward extensions around breeding colony; Baie de Brador include key near-colony areas for breeding populations of Atlantic Puffin (LC) 26516-33587 individuals and Razorbill (LC) 477-906 individuals.
