Site description (2000 baseline)
A polder complex near Pärnu town in western Estonia. The land is used for haymaking and cattle-grazing.

Key biodiversity
Audru polder is an important staging area for migrating wildfowl, especially Cygnus columbianus for which it is the most important staging site in Europe in spring. The site holds 20,000 or more waterbirds on a regular basis.
