Site description (baseline)
A calcareous promontory along the Tyrrhenian coast. The main habitats are maquis, garrigue, broadleaved woodland and rocky cliffs. Land-uses are mainly tourism and forestry.

Key biodiversity
An important site for six of the 21 species of the Mediterranean biome. Breeding species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Falco naumanni (rare).
