Site description (2019 baseline):

The area is situated in southern Banat, within the municipalities of Kovačica, Pančevo, Alibunar and Vršac. It is a typical flatland area of the Pannonian plane, heavily dominated by intensive agriculture, but with still preserved patches of pastures and salt marshes.
