Site description
A wood on the flood-plain of the Crisul Alb river, dominated by Quercus. In places Robinia plantations have replaced native species. Salix scrub grows along the banks of the river. Hunting is of mammals only.



Key biodiversity
The site is important for a stable, mixed breeding colony of Nycticorax nycticorax, Egretta garzetta and Ardea cinerea.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
No serious threats are known at the site, for which a management plan exists.
