Site description (baseline)
A marine area inside the 20 m bathymetric line. The dominant substrates are sand and gravel and contain a rich benthic fauna.



Key biodiversity
This is an important site for wintering seaducks. The site holds 20,000 or more waterbirds in winter, on a regular basis.

National None International HighIBA overlaps with Special Protection Area.
