Site description
An open, diverse landscape near Mattersburg. The main land-use is low-intensity agriculture and the site consists of arable fields, orchards, grassland and groves dominated by Castanea sativa.
Key biodiversity
This site holds important numbers of birds associated with non-intensively managed orchards and open woodland.
