Site description (baseline)
The IBA represents a unique loess plateau situated in South Bačka region, between Tisa river to the east and the Danube to the south. It has an ellipsoid form and is characterized by steep slopes at the margins, surrounded by numerous pastures and wet meadows. It stretches through the municipalities of Titel and Žabalj.
